Connecticut metalcore juggernauts CURRENTS have dropped their latest gut-punching single “It Only Gets Darker”, premiered today following a radio debut on SiriusXM Liquid Metal on June 16. The visually intense music video is now streaming worldwide.

Produced and engineered by guitarist Chris Wiseman, the song delivers punishing riffs, thunderous breakdowns, and emotional highs—representing a fierce evolution from their acclaimed 2023 album The Death We Seek.

The timing aligns with their headlining tour in support of We Came As Romans, After The Burial, and Johnny Booth, kicking off July 22 in Toronto and running through late August across North America.
