CELESTIAL SON - Present New Single "Interstellar Intercourse" Feat. Gavin Harrison

Copenhagen-based electronic progressive rock band CELESTIAL SON are gearing up for the release of their LP 'Planetaria', with a brand new single featuring legendary drummer Gavin Harrison of Porcupine Tree. The new track 'Interstellar Intercourse' is the final single release before the album drops, taking the listeners on an interstellar journey through lush sonic valleys, crimson red deserts, and celestial horizons - check out the animated music video above.

"Our mission with this track was to blend synthwave and progressive rock, and with Gavin’s excellent playing, we feel we might have achieved just that. From writing the song, recording and mixing it to making the music video, it has required lots of hours and dedication, but it has all been a labor of love, and we couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve managed to make", vocalist Rasmus Sjøgren muses.

Since being founded in 2003, CELESTIAL SON has released the EP ‘Misanthropia’ (2007), and two albums, ‘Doors of Perception’ (2011) and ‘Saturn’s Return’ in 2015. During the years, the band has toured extensively both nationwide and abroad, garnering a lot of admiration for their captivating, candid and astonishingly tight performances. On November 4th, 2022, the band will be releasing their third LP ‘Planetaria’, which has been produced by the bands very own Rasmus Sjøgren.
