Wishing for another now is what we all do sometimes. A world similar to ours, but a place with much more balance and fairness. Unfortunately, a darker, twisted and exaggerated version of our reality always lingers in the shallows of the possible. A bleak dystopian vision of our near future, or perhaps the now. This five-pieced metalcore band from Eindhoven is inspired by this duality. The lyrics shows society both the sickening and the fantastic aspects of our world, while the music comes at you like a relentless tornado of punching riffs and abrupt left turns, combined with atmospheric melodies. Inspired by bands like August Burns Red, Northlane and Crystal Lake, the quintet creates a fresh blend of musical styles for a broad audience of metal heads. Their debut self-produced and –released double single Lotus/Echoes showcases the band’s melodic and approachable side on the first track, while the B-side, with its haunting intro and lines like “Let the blood flow / Facing my fate behind the black mask / My death will echo”, quickly reveals itself as a much darker banger for the moshpit.
