THE EDGE OF REASON - Release Their Second Full-Length Album "Sting" on October 25, 2019 on STF-Records

Musically, driving rhythms meet with very catchy melodies and partial punky and rocky elements. The dynamic combination of screams and growls with the extraordinary clean voice of lead vocalist Ro Seven lends the band unmistakable character.
This album is a development for the band in every way. In addition to the hard guitar sounds, electronic sounds are also increasingly found on it.

With their debut album BROKEN BUT NOT TORN, the band built a steadily growing fan base and follower community. The Sinlges RIVER and COME TRUE out of STING reached #40 and #37 in the iTunes rock charts. The music video for COME TRUE is scratching the mark of 50,000 views on Youtube.

STING is again produced and mixed by Johannes Wenisch in the ROOM4 studio. However, this new album and the singles are mastered by none other than Joey Sturgis, who has already done some magic on the sound for bands like Asking Alexandria or I See Stars.

In our society we sadly learn that we can only succeed if we constantly push ourselves to be better than the others. At least that’s what authorities tell us. Instead of being supportive, we fight against each other to gain some sort of advantage. It’s a vicious circle.

As a result, satisfaction and inner balance of the individual are getting more and more out of reach. Mental health issues are overlooked but continue to increase. We hurt ourselves and each other until we get numb and dead inside.

TEOR believes that this could be alleviated if more people become aware of this problem and start being more emphatic and candid. It is especially important to THE EDGE OF REASON to reach out to those who are struggling with their lives. Their fans very much appreciate the personal relationship the band builds with them.

Music is a great chance to deal with and overcome negative things in life. It holds the power to release negative energy that is bottled up inside and turn it into something positive and beautiful. In this way, music protects people from becoming insane. It’s a mechanism of self-defense, just like the sting of a bee – vital and powerful!
