THE GALLERY - Unveil New Single "Pesticide"

Alternative Rockers, The Gallery have unveiled a new single "Pesticide".

Formed in 2017, four schoolmates - Joe Anderson-Smith (guitar), Sam Hawcroft (bass), Matthew Rees (vox) and Ben Whiteley (drums) - dipped into their collections of genre defining albums by Joy Division, Nirvana, Jeff Buckley and David Bowie to formulate a musical vocabulary with which to express their discontent with the music, politics and social issues of our times. Their manifesto is driven by their complete boredom and distaste with generic guitar bands and their love for inventive guitar, distorted bass hooks and the injection of energetic social commentary.

Sacrificing perfection for chaos, The Gallery play real music about real things to real audiences.

Selling out headline shows at 350+ capacity venues across Yorkshire and supporting fellow alternative bands Pretty Vicious and The Academic got the band hotly tipped by Futuresound and BBC Introducing, and earned them festival appearances at Live at Leeds 2017, Tramlines 2017 & 2018 and Kendal Calling 2018.

All this with just one self-released single and a single minded ethos to make heavy, alternative guitar music exciting again.
