AFFINITY MINUS PERFECTION - Release Second Single From New EP Passion Through Unity

The 5 Piece Rockhampton Metal band Affinity Minus Perfection are releasing their new single Voice in Volumes - the second single from their brand new EP "Passion through Unity". The single will be out in all good digital stores and streaming outlets this Friday November 9, and EP pre-orders are available now. The EP will see its release on Friday November 30.

The new single "Voice in Volumes" is about vocalist Hayden's experience with one of his first early high school projects. He pushed so hard for it and ended up pushing those who were involved further away and less interested. It was a massive learning curve on how he would approach and try to improve his interaction with those he worked with in the future.

Vocalist Hayden Foley said that the band are "...absolutely ecstatic for this release to drop. Since we had our line up change, we wrote a whole new record with childhood friends and we have locked into place so well with each other. Writing and playing live has felt so much more natural. We can't wait for everyone to be cranking the tunes and get out on the road and play them all."

Affinity Minus Perfection (A.M.P.) spent the majority of 2017 in writing mode and refined their sound before hitting the studio in December last year with producer Troy Brady, who has produced records for In Hearts Wake and Antagonist A.D. The product of this long gestation and pre-production period spent with Troy - is the bands new offering ‘Passion through Unity’.

Having released their self produced debut EP "Interpret As You Will" during July of 2016, the band toured extensively playing shows and festivals, covering all corners of Queensland and made it as far south as Coffs Harbour in NSW. Including sharing the stage with bands such as The Amity Affliction, Ocean Grove, Hellions, Chronolyth, A Breach of Silence, She Cries Wolf and Darkcell.

Affinity Minus Perfection's new EP 'Passion through Unity' will be released on Friday November 30, with pre-orders available now!
